The Rossendale Trust now has five homes located in various parts of Cheshire and Derbyshire providing long term residential care for adults with learning disabilities.
The largest home is Rossendale Hall situated in the heart of rural Cheshire - just 10 minutes south of the old silk Town of Macclesfield.
Its main half timbered 'Tudor' style building (built in 1930) can just be seen en-route from Sutton village to Wincle and Buxton - nestling in a very secluded position beside the wooded valley of the Rossendale Brook and encompassed by rolling farmland.
Rossendale Hall's residencies comprise of three units. 'Riverside' (long stay), 'Hillside' (short stay) and 'the Hall' (residential). All these units provide special needs care and accommodation for up to 28 residents. |
Woodlands, situated in Macclesfield consists of two old coaching houses, updated and integrated to become the lodge and cottage providing special needs care and accommodation for up to 15 residents. |
Cavendale, situated in Buxton is a large Bungalow, adapted to provide special needs care and accommodation for up to eight residents. |
